It’s a Three-peat!

Phoenix Innovate Makes Crain’s Cool Places to Work List Three Years in a Row

I’m happy to announce that Crain’s Detroit Business has named us as one of 100 Cool Places to Work in their annual awards. This makes three straight years for us!

The leaders at the company have worked hard to build a positive work environment and fun company culture and I am happy to say that all of us are committed to the same values.

“What’s gotten us here? Simple: our people. The team at Phoenix Innovate is passionate, dedicated, and talented. They’re also a whole lot of fun to be around” said Kirk Vercnocke, CEO.

I asked our team members to talk about why Phoenix Innovate is a Cool Place to Work, and here’s what they had to say:

“Phoenix Innovate invests in their people and the community. They provide ongoing training to strengthen our skill sets and communication. We’ve created a culture in the workplace that is about others. Every year we plant a garden, everyone tends it, and we donate the produce to a local food pantry to feed those in need. We also adopt families to help provide basic necessities and support during the holiday season. I am proud to work for a company that cares about their people and serves the community.” - Jennifer

“PI always tries to fulfill its customers’ needs as well as its associates’. Every day I say hi and ask how people are doing when I get here. There has not been one morning where I have not heard ‘happy to be here’ or not seen a smiling face.” - Nick

“What makes PI a great place to work is that we are all recognized as being interdependent parts of the whole, members of one team, and that each is important to the success of the whole.” - Carol

“I appreciate how the company doesn’t micromanage and trusts its associates to be the professionals that we are. That helps us all to remember our common goal: to meet and exceed client expectations and enjoy what we do here. Plus, the free swag doesn’t hurt!” - Terry

What comes through loud and clear is that the little things make a big impact. Almost everyone I talked to mentioned the quarterly credit issued to buy high quality branded SWAG. From clothing to coolers, associates are proud to wear and share items with our logo on it. The commitment to strong personal and community relationships through monthly associate appreciation meals and paid time off for volunteer work also means a lot to our team.

When you put it all together with our commitment to career development and training, it means that we can offer our clients the same enthusiastic, teamwork-based approach when we craft authentic marketing strategies.

I’ve always known that Phoenix Innovate was cool and now we are certifiably cool since 2018!
