Position Overview 
As a Shipping and Receiving Associate Driver, you must follow all traffic rules and regulations, plan routes based on road conditions and use navigation applications. You must also maintain the vehicle in good condition, conduct regular cleaning and maintenance, and ensure that the vehicle is always fueled and ready for use. Additionally, you must interact with customer and coworkers professionally. You will primarily use hand trucks and pallet jack to move materials around. 

Responsibilities

• Deliver items to the appropriate locations.
• Pull warehouse items ensuring inventory is kept up to date.
• Assist with inventory counts.
• Demonstrate a commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures.
• Run powered industrial vehicles such as pallet jacks, tow motors and turret trucks.
• Read, understand and produce appropriate shipping/receiving documents.
• Demonstrate a basic ability to work with Excel, Word, email and general computer systems for intercompany technology use.
• Communicate and coordinate effectively with other departments on a daily basis.

Background and Qualifications

• Previous Shipping/Receiving/Warehouse experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and comfort working independently to meet production expectations.
• Able to stand for long periods, operate powered industrial vehicles, lift at least 60 lbs., and handle bending, twisting, reaching and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed and adapt to change.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Michigan driver’s license and CDL license.

Schedule

• Full-time.
• Five days a week – 8-10 hour shift.
• Overtime based on client requirement.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Work Location

• In-person at our Troy, Michigan location.

Salary

• $16.00 - $18.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
